Kostis Pavlou was born in Katerini, Greece, in 1979, and has been growing and maturing in the shadow of Mount Olympus ever since. He studied Graphic Design and has been working in the field continuously for nearly 25 years.
He began his career as a designer on archaeological excavations in Platamon, went on to head the layout department of a local newspaper in his hometown, and then embarked on a long escape to the capital, where he worked alongside Semina Digeni, one of Greece’s most prominent journalists and television personalities.
In recent years, he has found particular joy in designing book and podcast covers, as well as posters. His portfolio includes more than 500 books by authors from around the world, including numerous bestsellers.
In 2025, he published his own book, Colouring Ancient Greece, with the Greek publishing house Key Books. The book has enjoyed a successful reception, marking an exciting milestone in his creative journey and bringing his passion for graphic design and ancient Greek culture together in one project.
